B3 is part of Growth Curve Technologies Ltd., a new business forged by Wray and Entwisle, an IT solutions company created by Ian Gilfillan and Tom Mathews. For the first few years in business even we used the conventional tools to run our business, but as our company grew, rather than buying a bigger and more expensive application – with the associated increase in professional fees – we decided to design our own.
Part of the philosophy behind b3 is to make looking after your business simple and cost-effective. We’ve thought about how we run our own successful businesses, and how to intuitively manage all of the information and accounts produced in an online portal.
As our businesses have evolved it would have been easy for Ian and Tom to step back from the customer frontline, because the company would be too big to be hands on with everyone. But instead, they have remained as a central force within the business – believing that their customer and supplier relationships ARE the business.
